Small Banana Seller

Innocent isn't he?? This pic is not from any digicam, it was clicked from my Nokia N72 mobile. Me and my father were roaming on the streets of Renigunta searching for a hotel, when we came across this small banana seller. While buying bananas from him I just clicked this pic when he was unaware of it. Though he was a small kid but he was very sharp in business, he didnt budge on our negotiation and sticked to his quoted price. This pic is also a replica of child labour problem prevailing in our society, were small children are made to work by their parents to earn money. This photograph won 3rd prize in Parallax Photography competition in "India Lies in You" event in Goa.

This pic of a Blooming Lotus, I clicked at horticulture training center at Talegaon, Pune. I was just walking with fellow trainees, when i saw this Lotus blooming in a small pond. I almost felled into the pond while clicking but got a good close shot of it. The colour is so refreshing and ecstatic.

Whistling Through Sahyadris

This pic was clicked from farmhouse of one of my friend in Bhivpuri, Karjat. It gives a beautiful view of Matheran Hills with blanket of fog floating over it. A long distance train whistling through adds to the beauty of this picture. Isn't it clean and beautiful???

Serene Savitri River

This pic is of Savitri River, which emanates from Mahabaleshwar and then making its way through Raigad District of Konkan ends in Arabian Sea at Harihareshwar. This pic was clicked from the spot where Swadesh  Shooting took place (Yun hi Chala Chal Rahi Song). The spot gives a panoramic view of Sahyadris and River. This river is constantly polluted by the industries residing in MIDC, Mahad due to which marine life of this river is under danger. The villagers residing besides this river eat fish from this river and are suffering from harmful consequences. No efforts are made to mitigate this problem.

Perfect Picnic Spot

I believe that my village is the most beautiful place in Konkan. In rainy season it gets cover with green blanket and everywhere you can see only lush green paddy fields. This is a pic clicked from outside of village and one of my friend on Facebook commented it as "Perfect Picnic Spot". Yaa !!! Indeed it is a perfect picnic spot.
